Matt Horton was raised on a farm south of Leoti. After graduating from Wichita County High School, he attended Kansas State University where he majored in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Nuclear Engineering. When Matt graduated, he decided to move back and join the family farm. Their farming operations include irrigated corn and dryland milo and wheat. Matt currently lives north of Deeerfield with his wife, Aubrey. They attend the Christ Covenant Church in Leoti. In his free time, Matt enjoys building and programming computers. Matt became an Associate Director of the Garden City Co-op in December 2012. |
