Bruce Howard was born and raised in Ulysses, Kansas. He is the son of Gary & Sandy Howard of Ulysses and is a third generation farmer. Bruce farms north of Ulysses and raises both irrigated and dryland wheat, milo, corn and sunflowers. Bruce and his wife, Kelly Rae, have two adopted children - Jordan and Justin. Bruce enjoys following his children in several sports and activities. Bruce serves on the Soil Conservation Board in Grant County. He also served as an Associate Director of the Garden City Co-op from 2006 to 2008. He was elected to the Board of Directors in December 2011. |
